What is an Army Civilian ?
An Army civilian is an employee of the United States Army who fills critical Department of Defense roles in more than 500 careers, including cyber security, engineering, medicine and administration.

Disabled individuals employment qualifications ?
If you have a disability, you may qualify for competitive and noncompetitive federal employment. Disabled individuals may qualify for Army Civilian Service based on a special appointing authority. Applicants must be able to perform the essential duties of the job with reasonable accommodation. Noncompetitive employment is also available for individuals with severe physical, psychiatric or intellectual disabilities. Candidates must provide documentation of their disability and proof of job readiness signed by a licensed medical professional, a licensed vocational rehabilitation specialist, or a representative from any federal or state agency that provides disability benefits.
