The CECOM Historical Research Collection, located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland in Building 6002 on the C4ISR Center of Excellence, consists of documents, still photos, films, and recordings (audio and video).

The Collection focuses on:
  • CECOM and predecessor organizations since 1963
  • Electronics technologies
  • The collection also has a small military history reference library (about 2000 volumes)

The collection also contains archived material related to the history of Fort Monmouth and the Signal Corps (1917 to 1976) and Signal Corps Laboratories.

It is open to qualified researchers Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For appointments, call 443-861-6671 or DSN 848-6671

The Command Historian welcomes donations of material (documents, photos, films, recordings) that pertain to the history of CECOM and predecessor organizations, and its past and present locations.
